It only takes one...
it only takes one person to make a change in this world. Today when driving in Angels Camp I noticed a lady standing beside the road up ahead she looked like a nun to me, long flowing skirt, black in color with a white color around her neck. As I got closer to turn into the parking lot I slowed, she mistook this as a sign that I would talk to her, or help her. She came to my window and said she needed a ride to san andreas, ok I can take you I said and in my car she came. Now first thing you should know is that I dont believe I have ever picked up a hitch hiker, never, The second thing is that I was not going to san andreas, just over to my office about a mile away. But something inside me just said yes, YES I will help this woman. As we got driving she started sharing her story of her 2 kittys, where she lived etc. apparently her heater had gone out and she needed to try and get a replacement today to keep her and the kittys warm. so on we went on our 15 minute drive talking and sharing. I felt that I neeed to help her more so I gave her the money for a new heater, as I dropped her off. She was so delighted that a complete starnger would be so kind, as I drived away and waved I got tears to my eyes realizing that today I made a positive difference in someone elses life, randomly, openly and 100% unselfishly and I feel great! So my question to you is: What are you willing to do, share etc to make a difference?
